  • Yes, GiftCharity is designed to help Parent charities assist a small charity with a one-person development office.  Crescendo provides the GiftCharity with a planned giving website, eNewsletters, eLiterature, Crescendo Lite Software and online education.  The Parent Charity assists with GiftCharity training events, gift closing and administration.
  • How does the Parent charity help educate its affiliated GiftCharities?
  • A Parent charity will assist its affiliated GiftCharities by hosting online education programs 3-4 times a year at the Parent's location.  GiftCharities will be invited to view GiftCollege online planned giving programs on the topics that include eMarketing for planned gifts, using eLiterature and preparing donor proposals with Crescendo Lite Software.
  • How does the GiftCharity literature license work? 
  • Brochures, postcards and wills kits are included as part of the GiftCharity program.  Print literature may be downloaded through the GiftCharity web manager, customized with Adobe InDesign Software and printed.  Utilizing downloaded files with the help of a local printer will save the GiftCharity 25% to 30% compared with other options.
  • What role does the eNewsletter play in GiftCharity marketing?
  • You can greatly expand your donor outreach through e-mail.  Most organizations have small e-mail lists, but they are able to grow these lists by adding their directors and major donors to the distribution over time.  The more friendly contacts that are made, and the more interest generated, will increase the likelihood that your charity will receive gifts. 
  • How will GiftCharities prepare donor proposals and close gifts?
  • By attending the online GiftCollege Crescendo Lite Software eSeminar, a GiftCharity may learn to produce gift annuities, unitrusts and other motivating gift proposals. The Parent charity is also trained and available to assist with gift closing and administration needs.
